All Categories - Material Mart's Site Steel Mesh to AS/NZS 4671 Steel Mesh is a steel mesh structure made by welding or tying steel bars at specific intervals and arrangements. It is widely used in construction to enhance the strength and stability of concrete structures.
Applications:
1. Concrete Reinforcement: Reinforcing mesh is commonly placed in concrete elements such as floors, walls, bridges, tunnels, and pavements to improve tensile, compressive, and crack resistance.
2. Precast Components: Used in precast concrete slabs, columns, and beams to increase overall strength and durability.
3. Foundation Reinforcement: Reinforcing mesh strengthens the soil and improves load-bearing capacity in foundations, especially in large-scale infrastructure like roads and airport runways.
4. Crack Prevention: In large concrete pours, reinforcing mesh helps prevent cracks caused by temperature changes or shrinkage, maintaining structural integrity.
Advantages:
- High Efficiency: Simplifies the installation process, speeding up construction.
- Uniform Quality: Factory-made mesh ensures consistent spacing and quality.
- Material Savings: Reduces steel usage and waste, lowering project costs.
FENCE NETTING Fencing Mesh consists of mesh panels and posts, incorporating various elements to provide protection and defense for enclosed areas. The tight rectangular mesh, defensive spikes, and considerable height effectively prevent climbing and trespassing. This product is ideal for enclosing large areas over long distances, and is widely used in industrial sites, ranches, farms, temporary factories, airports, highways, and railways.
CHAIN LINK MESH Material: High-quality PE, PVC coated wire, with the inner wire options of black iron wire, cold galvanized, or hot-dip galvanized wire.
Features: Easy and convenient installation, adaptable to various terrains. Resistant to corrosion and fading, with a long service life. Aesthetic and stylish, available in multiple colors, offering decorative effects.
Specifications: Mesh size range: 20mm-150mm, wire diameter range (after coating): 1.8mm-6mm. Custom processing such as edging, twisting, and handle shrinking is available according to customer requirements.
Colors: Available in grass green, dark green, yellow, white, black, red, orange, and more, with grass green and dark green being the most commonly used.
Applications: Suitable for buildings, school sports field fences, highway barriers, workshop partitions, factory and warehouse dividers, retaining wall gabions, parks, warehouses, zoo fences, construction site barriers, poultry enclosures, landscaping, slope protection, and more. It is the preferred product for urban beautification projects.
Prestress Bar & Strand to AS/NZS 4672 Prestressed steel strands are the primary load-bearing reinforcement for concrete components in highway and railway bridges as well as large-scale buildings. Traditionally, 1*7-15.2-1860MPa strength steel strands have been widely used. To meet the high-quality development requirements in the construction sector, such as resource conservation, environmental protection, carbon reduction, cost efficiency, and lightweight construction, Material Mart offers ultra-high strength prestressed steel strand products. By optimizing and enhancing production processes, including raw material rod processing, surface treatment, drawing, and stabilization heat treatment, we efficiently produce stable and reliable prestressed steel strands with strengths ranging from 2100 to 2400MPa. These products have already been applied in large-scale projects like highways and railways, delivering significant economic benefits.
Hot Rolled Bar to AS/NZS 4671 Rebar Specifications
Nominal Diameter Range of Rebar:
The nominal diameter of rebar ranges from 6 to 50mm, with standard nominal diameters being 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, and 50mm.
Surface Shape and Dimensional Tolerances for Ribbed Rebar:
The design principles for transverse ribs on ribbed rebar should comply with the following regulations:
- The angle β between the transverse ribs and the rebar axis should not be less than 45 degrees. When this angle is not greater than 70 degrees, the direction of the transverse ribs on opposite sides of the rebar should be reversed.
- The nominal spacing l of the transverse ribs should not exceed 0.7 times the nominal diameter of the rebar.
- The angle α between the side of the transverse ribs and the rebar surface should not be less than 45 degrees.
- The total gap between the ends of the transverse ribs on adjacent sides of the rebar (including the width of the longitudinal ribs) should not exceed 20% of the nominal circumference of the rebar.
- For rebars with a nominal diameter of 12mm or less, the relative rib area should not be less than 0.055; for 14mm and 16mm rebars, it should not be less than 0.060; and for
Steel Plate and Slabs to AS/NZS 3678 Steel Plate and Slabs are primarily used in construction projects, machinery manufacturing, container production, shipbuilding, and bridge construction. They can also be utilized in the manufacturing of various containers, furnace shells, furnace plates, bridges, automotive static steel plates, low alloy steel plates, shipbuilding steel plates, boiler steel plates, pressure vessel steel plates, patterned steel plates, automotive chassis steel plates, tractor parts, and welded components.
